Skype Broadcast Washington, D.C. January
9, 2010
Baghavan: Namaste...
Namaste, Baghavan! Yay! (Applause)
Namaste Baghavan!
Baghavan: Love you all! Yes. Shall we go
ahead with the questions?
First we want to wish you a Happy New
Year, Baghavan, and..
Baghavan: Thank you so much. I wish you
all a very, very Happy New Year too.
We would like to tell you that there are
43 people here. And there are another 10
people calling in to participate in this
call, although they cannot be here
today. Baghavan: Yes.
Yes. Now we can start on the Questions.
Q1: Before December 3, 2009, there were
23 Blessing Givers in the Washington DC
Metropolitan area. Today, we have 72.
Does Washington DC, being the capital of
the United States, carry a strategic
significance for the Oneness vision? If
so, do you have a specific vision for
Washington DC and how can we best help?
Baghavan: For any country, if you have
sufficient numbers in the capital, and
we would start the process in the
capital, it would certainly affect the
whole country much faster than if we
would start in some other part in the
country. So it is very good news that
you are growing rapidly in Washington
DC. What is the population of Washington
DC?
4 Million in the greater metropolitan
area and 700,000 in the city proper.
Baghavan: I see. So I think if we can
reach a figure of 400, we could really
start meditations here without waiting
for 2012. We could start it much
earlier. So let's hope we will get
quickly to the number 400.
Very good. 400 Blessing Givers!
Everybody heard that? 400!
(Applause)
Baghavan: Next question, please.
Q2: Can you please help me to reconcile
being a faithful Christian who believes
in the Bible (that is, that it is "the
Word" of God) with Oneness and you as an
Avatar? I very much want to have both
as part of my life and do not want to
choose one or the other. Specifically,
I would like to know how you think
Christians can think about the Bible's
statement that "the only way to the
Father is through Jesus." This may be
the single most important interpretation
of my life so I thank you for your most
helpful wisdom on this subject.
Baghavan: I have often said that
Oneness is like sugar, and you could add
it to anything you want, coffee or tea
or whatever it is. So Oneness could be
added to Christianity, Buddhism, Islam,
Hinduism. So Oneness is my concept for
the big ( ?... ) ; it can be
added onto anything....... when 2012
comes, Christians will discover Christ
Consciousness, Buddhists will discover
Buddha Consciousness, and Muslims will
discover Islamic Consciousness. So what
you are going to discover will depend on
your faith.
And as regards the other statement that
Christ is the way, Christians, if they
are very (?), they will certainly make
it to a place where they will be able to
see and talk with Christ. Where in
fact, it has already happened to quite a
few, who can already see and talk to
Christ. So Christians would make it the
Christian way, Buddhists the Buddhist
way, and a Hindu the Hindu way. So, all
depends upon how faithful you are to
your faith. That's why we do not give
you a simplistic faith - we want your
Christianity, your Islam, your Buddhism,
your Jainism. ........
and we want to serve people of different
faiths, and so, there is no conflict
there.
Shall we move on to the third question?
Q3: In your skype call to Denmark
recently you said that the ideal way to
prepare the body for the
neuro-biological shift is Kundalini
yoga. When the Kundalini seems to be
activated yet "stuck" and creating pain
in the body as it builds and is blocked,
what should we do?
Baghavan: There are techniques to reset
the Kundalini. Maybe at some other point
in time, we will train the Blessing
Givers in how to reset the Kundalini.
That may not be possible in this Skype,
but we'll certainly do it in the near
future. We'll train you as to how to
reset the Kundalini. We move to the
fourth question.
Q4: Realizing that the Oneness Blessing
is a gift to humanity and realizing that
our animal friends do not seem to
require a quieting of the mind like we
humans, I would be so grateful to know
more about how the Oneness Blessing
works with animals.
Baghavan: Our animals also need a
quieting of the mind. And the Deeksha is
known to be very very powerful on
animals. Please try it and see.
(Laughter) Very powerful.
Thank you Baghavan. We have a few guests
here who have brought an offering for
you. ( Turning to guests) Would you
please stand up?
Namaste, Ammabaghavan! (Few words
exchanged with Baghavan in ?Hindi?
Tamil?..........)
Namaste, Baghavan. We love you very
much.
Baghavan: Thank you.
We love you very much. We've brought
some flowers, and some sweets, and some
fruits. Please bless them so that we can
share them with everybody here.
Baghavan: I realize it. I am blessing
them.
And when you are here, in the US, you
are with us.
Baghavan: Yes. Love you both.
Thank you, Baghavan. Thank you very
much.
Bless you, thank you so much.
Baghavan, one of the callers on the
telephone here is a Blessing Giver, her
name is Nicki. And she fell down and
broke her hip after she was completing
her chemotherapy.
Baghavan: Ahh.
So, she wanted to be here, she could not
be here, because she cannot walk, but I
would like to ask you to please include
her in the Blessing that you are going
to give us.
Baghavan: Yes, I'll do that.
Thank you.
Baghavan: I'll do that. And before we
go on to meditation, I would like to
tell you that your friend Doug is here
with me. (Laughter and applause) Love
you all. So, shall we go on to
meditation.
Thank you, thank you.
Baghavan: Love you all! Love you!
Group: Love you, Baghavan. Namaste!
Thank you!
