Q1. Bhagavan, it is evident that
violence is manifesting in our families
and in ourcommunities. It seems that
boredom, drugs and alcohol are playing a
major role in this. Bhagavan can you
please share with us what is creating
this problem and what we can do to help
alleviate it?
All problems emerge from the state of
our consciousness. We are all at a
level of
consciousness and manifesting it
in the external world. We must know that
people
create the times and the times create
the people. The times will move behind
the
energies. The energies affect human
consciousness which in turn affects
human
behaviour.
Now we are entering a very difficult
period where we are affected by a
particular consciousness but then the
good news is that from March or
June of 2011
the energies will be changing and we
could expect very clearly a change in
human
behaviour. It is not very far off.
As the energies change, it affects
consciousness and then it transforms
people and the blessing of the deeksha
can bring it about in a big way. It can
speed up the process, and also can bring
about dramatic changes. That's why we
are trying to get the blessing to as
many people as possible. So I think we
might have to put up with the problems
and difficulty probably for the next 15
or 18 months and we are going to see
very big changes after that and around
2012 it's going to be very dramatic.
Q2. Bhagavan, the oneness blessing leads
to the flowering of the heart. A friend
who became enlightened through being
focused intently on silent sitting
meditation says that in enlightenment
you have to go beyond the heart to
disappear into the nothingness.
Bhagavan, can you please share with us
your view on this?
In our experience we have found no
difference between the flowering of the
heart and vanishing into nothingness.
This seems to be identical. There seems
to be no great difference at all. In
fact, once you vanish from the scene, in
that you discover thatthere is no person
there, the heart seems to flower in a
very big way. There is only love. So we
would not say that there is any
difference between the two.
Q3. The reason I cam into the
oneness movement was to awaken. I
have been involved for 5 years now and I
am wondering as the energy increases
closer to 2012, how will it affect my
own awakening? Will it be in stages,
Bhagavan, or will it have to wait until
2012?
Enlightenment happens in two ways, in
fact, this kind of subject has been
discussed
for the past 3,000 years. There is what
we call gradual enlightenment and there
is
what we call sudden enlightenment.
Anything could happen to a person
depending
upon how his kundalini is functioning.
So, I would say that it's already
beginning to
happen to people not just in
India but also in other countries
people are currently
getting awakened and it looks like it is
getting speeded up now.
It looks like every week of every
passing month it is becoming quicker and
quicker. However, we could see dramatic
results, as we said earlier, from March
or June of 2011 and 2012 of course is
the best opportunity for mankind to make
it in a big way. There will be large
numbers of people who will make it. So,
it could happen even before 2011, or it
could happen sometime in 2012, but
things are going to happen now. For some
it could be a step by step process for
some it could be all of a sudden,
completely enlightened all of a sudden,
that also could happen. So we would not
be able to predict how it is going to
take its course. But for someone who is
so passionate I am sure it is going to
happen sooner rather than later.
